Sara Haines spends time with 'The View' co-hosts ahead of exit
Sara Haines enjoyed a day out with her co-hosts on The View following the reports that she will be leaving the talk show and onto a new job.
Haines is set to join Michael Strahan on a new third hour of Good Morning America.
Before her departure, Haines had fun with her co-hosts as they had drinks with Meghan McCain sharing the special moment to her fans on her Instagram page.
McCain and Haines were joined by other co-hosts Suny Hostin, Joy Behar, and Paula Faris on the special outing.

On the caption, McCain wrote, ‘Ladies get lit Thurday’s!’
As for the open slot for a co-host on The View, ABC is reported to be considering two politically-oriented individuals from the industry.
The network is said to be interested in having Fox News‘ Abby Huntsman and CNN contributor and regular The View guest Ana Navarro to fill in Haines’ position.
Seeing as both women are very open in their conservative views, it would be an interesting addition to the current dynamic.
For Haines’ new gig on Good Morning America, Variety reported that she will be joining Strahan on the third hour beginning September 10th.
Haines started her job in ABC in 2013 as one of the news contributors and the weekend host for Good Morning America. Eventually, in 2016, she became one of the co-hosts on The View.
Among the remaining co-hosts of The View, McCain appears to be the most outspoken Republican.
In an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, McCain revealed that even though she often argues with her co-hosts on-air, they still get along well backstage.
As for Faris, she is also set to leave The View and Good Morning America for a new role at ABC, which reportedly deals with more reporting and breaking news.
The View airs on weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
