Eddie Murphy welcomes his 10th child with fianceé Paige Butcher

Eddie Murphy is a father for the tenth time as his fiance delivers their second child.

Eddie Murphy is a ten-time father now that his fiancé Paige Butcher has given birth to their second child.

Murphy’s brand new son was born on November 30 weighing 6 lbs and 11 oz and measuring 19 inches long. The actor’s rep confirmed the news and even revealed the newborn’s name – Max Charles Murphy. His middle name is reportedly dedicated to the 57-year-old actor’s brother who died from leukemia last year.

“Both mother and son are doing well,” the rep adds.

Murphy and Butcher are already parents to 2-year-old Izzy Oona. They’ve been wanting to give Izzy a sibling and finally revealed Butcher’s second pregnancy in August.

A month later, they announced their engagement after a 6-year dating period which began in 2012. Around the same time, Butcher also disclosed she was carrying a boy.

Max is Murphy’s fourth son. His eldest, Eric is now 29 and is the son of Paulette McNeely. Murphy also has another son with Tamara Hood, 28-year-old Chirstian. His third son is with his ex-wife Nicole Mitchell. Miles is 26.

Four of Murphy’s six daughters are with Mitchell – Bella Zahra, 16, Zola Ivy, 18, Shayne Audra, 23, and Bria, 28. He also has another daughter, Angel, with Spice Girl Mel B who recently revealed that Murphy is “the love of my life.”

In her latest book, “Brutally Honest,” Mel B said that despite being “spectacularly dumped” by the comedian, she still considers him to be the love she would never forget. The singer said they were “completely besotted” until a fight led to their relationship’s demise. Matters became worse when out of spite, Murphy denied the paternity of their child. Through a paternity test, it was proven that Murphy was Angel’s father but the damage had already been done. However, after everything, Mel B still thinks Eddie is “a genuinely decent man.”
