Todd Chrisley's son was arrested for drug possession, but in a Twitter post, the reality star said that he still has his "head held high."

In early May, Kyle Chrisley, 27, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine in the state of Oklahoma, TMZ reported on Saturday.

It's not known if he is currently in jail for the drug charges, or for an alleged death threat he made against his estranged wife, Alexus Chrisley, in January.

According to the outlet, an affidavit obtained from the courts said that Kyle messaged Alexus saying, "[N]ot before I end you. I'm going to the streets I will get my [expletive] and take care of this problem with you because if I'm not with you nobody will be. Bye Alexus."

In response, Alexus reportedly told Kyle that "that's a threat to my life." In response, Kyle confirmed, "Yes Lexi, it was. Goodbye." The alleged documents also included police citations of images in which Kyle held a gun to his head.

At the emergence of the news, real estate mogul Todd took to Twitter and seemed to be addressing his son's most recent arrest.

He wrote:

"I have no room for regret, I won’t dim my light so someone else can shine brighter, I am a child of God and he did not build me to break, therefore I stand head held high to serve his purpose."

Kyle only appeared on one season of "Chrisley Knows Best" before leaving due to drug problems. In 2014, his father revealed that his son suffered from bipolar disorder, and spoke about his drug addiction problem.

This is not Kyle's first arrest, but Todd has remained adamant that he'll stick by his son's side no matter what. Todd shares Kyle with his first wife, Teresa Terry. He and current wife Julie Chrisley have two children.

Meanwhile, Kyle has one child of his own, daughter Chloe Chrisley. He shares her with ex-girlfriend Angela Johnson, but for now, his parents have custody of the young girl. At one point, Kyle accused his father of using Chloe, who is mixed, to get better ratings on the show.

Of course, it could just be that Todd loves his granddaughter. He shared the most adorable picture of her hugging her cousin Jackson back in 2017. In the caption, Todd called the kids a "blessing" and couldn't believe how fast they grew.

Kyle remains estranged from his family, but said that he wishes them "nothing but the best." Before he and Alexus separated, the two made music together and released songs on Soundcloud and YouTube.

The channel, like their relationship, has been dormant for months now, but the Chrisley family is still going strong. The show's new spin-off, "Growing Up Chrisley," mostly follows Savannah, 21, and Chase, 22, as they try to do their own thing in the world.

In a recent episode, Savannah decided to try a women's retreat, and it didn't sit very well with her father. Todd was fearful his daughter had gone to a cult-like gathering and took steps to get her back.

He and his friend Elliott scaled the fence of the institution only to find that the place was just what Savannah said, a place for self-empowerment and balance. Instead of dragging her out, Todd told his daughter how proud he was of her.

While we'll have to wait for the next update on Kyle, Todd and the rest of the family can be found on USA's "Growing Up Chrisley" which airs on Tuesday nights at 10:30 p.m.
