Donny Osmond, a star who has seen the rise and fall of his career only to bounce back with one of the greatest musical comebacks of the music video era posted a loving picture on his Instagram in celebration of his son Jeremy’s birthday.
The television star, singer, dancer, and former teen idol is known for his comeback through the “soldier of love” took to Instagram on June 9 to wish his son Jeremy a happy birthday.
“#HappyBirthday to the handsome Dr. Osmond! I love watching you in action as an all-star father, husband, son, brother, and friend. Your mom and I are so proud of you, Jeremy. We hope you have a wonderful day!” he captioned the post.
The picture portrayed Donny and his son Jeremy with Jeremy’s wife Melisa and son Dylan taking the center frame in the stands of a football field. The proud grandpa and dad were there in support of young Dylan’s game.
The former teen idol doesn’t miss out on giving his family the best of wishes on their special day. Previously, he posted a birthday wish on his Instagram account for his look-alike son Brandon Michael Osmond on January 29.
"Happy birthday, Brandon! I am grateful every day that you are my son. You and your beautiful family bring so much joy, fun, and meaning to my life. I am very proud to call you ours," he wrote.
Donny might have had a successful career in the entertainment industry, but he recently joked about how he could have become a doctor given that his handwriting is bad.
The singer shared a throwback photo of himself with author Debra Hayes on Instagram where he joked about his signature.
“Can you believe how much my signature has changed over the years? When I was 14 you could actually read the letters in my name. Looking back 47 years later, I’m realizing I’ve missed my calling in life. I should've been a doctor!” he wrote.
Thankfully, he did not choose to become a doctor since he wouldn’t have been able to share his extraordinary music with the world if he did.
