Snoop Dogg's Wife Wore Low-Cut Black Dress with Gold Detail to Mike Epps' Wedding
Snoop Dogg’s wife, Shante Broadus, was the rapper’s plus-one to comedian Mike Epps’ wedding and the mom-of-three/grandma-of-two made sure to turn heads in a classy black dress.
The “Gin & Juice” rapper and his wife skipped the BET Awards on Sunday, June 23, to witness Epps tying the knot with his bride, Kyra Robinson.
Shante took to Instagram to share pictures of her outfit to the California wedding, garnering tons of compliments for the black floor-length dress featuring gold embroidery.
The modest gown also came with a dipped neckline, low enough to show just a hint of Shante’s cleavage, and at the waist was a satin bow. Shante paired the gorgeous dress with minimal jewelry, highlighted braids, and a full face of makeup.
“The Wedding Was Beautiful. Congratulations [Mike Epps] And Wifey,” Shante wrote before giving a shout-out to her styling team. “My Team Had Me Right.”

WEDDING DATE
Snoop (real name Calvin Broadus Jr.) and his wife of 21 years were among the 200 guests present at Mike and Kyra’s private nuptial at the renowned The Resort At Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California.
The rapper even shared footage from the ceremony showing Mike and Kyra having their first dance to a live performance from the singing group The Whispers.
A 'THANK YOU' TO BET
Although Snoop skipped the BET Awards that was taking place simultaneously in Los Angeles, he filmed a “Thank You” video on Instagram after finding out that he had won the Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award for his song "Blessing Me Again" featuring Rance Allen.
“We just got some news from our little sister, Monica [Brown]. She just told me that I won an award at BET for gospel song with Rance Allen,” Snoop said in the clip where Shante made a cute cameo appearance.
“I wanna thank BET… all the people that worked on the album, Rance Allen, producers, writers,” he added, pausing to kiss Shante on the cheek. “God is good. BET we love you. Thank you!”
MARRIAGE HIGHS & LOWS
Snoop and Shante have come a long way, surviving infidelity, a near-divorce, and a Lupus diagnosis for one of their children, to emerge as one of entertainment’s longest-lasting couple so far.
In April, Shante shared a quote about “forgiveness and understanding” being the bedrock of long-lasting relationships, and for a woman who took her husband back after he initially filed for divorce and fathered a love-child, she sure knows what she’s talking about.
A PARTNERSHIP THAT WORKS
“Thank u for forgiving me and understanding me,” Snoop commented on the post, according to MadameNoire. “Love u for life my backbone.”
Snoop and Shante have three children, sons Corde, 24, and Cordell, 22, and daughter Cori, who recently turned 20.
Through Corde, the rapper and his wife are grandparents to a four-year-old boy and a ten-month-old girl while their second son Cordell, announced earlier this year that he and his girlfriend are expecting a baby.
