Kim Fields just celebrated her 12th wedding anniversary with husband Christopher Morgan.
Most of us will remember actress Kim Fields as Regine on "Living Single," while for others she will always be Tootie from "Facts of Life."
The actress is now 50, and she has just celebrated her 12th wedding anniversary with husband Christopher Morgan, and the couple shared posts on Instagram to mark the occasion.
"It’s Anniversary Week!!!! We work, we play, we love and we worship....... together. That’s how it works. Keep your own things, but be sure to make new ones with the one you love. A flower cannot grow without something to root in to. #Loveposts #anniversary #takeaweek#justtry @kimfieldsofficial" Christopher Morgan
Christopher posted a photo of the two, accompanied by a caption that expresses his love and his dedication to Kim.
It is clear in his message that he and Kim are lovers, best friends, and work-mates, just like it's meant to be. Lucky Kim.
Kim suffered two miscarriages before she finally conceived her second child at 44.
"Love me some him.@christopherlmorgan ‘s #husbandgame makemy #WifeLiferight... nuff said.?Kismet captured by @dathanthigpencirca 2016 (I adore this photograph of us, thx bro) #LoveAndMarriage#Marriage #love #family #LitLove#PowerCouple"
Christopher and Kim share two sons, the oldest of which, Sebastian, was born while they were still engaged - and shortly before their wedding in July 2007.
They longed for more children, but Kim suffered two miscarriages before she finally conceived her second child at 44. Their second baby, Quincy Morgan, was born in December 2013.
Kim's brief season on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" was to cast a shade over how their marriage is perceived when Kenya Moore claimed that Chris was gay and was known on Broadway as "Chrissy."
Christopher, who is a well-known and talented actor, singer and dancer on Broadway dismissed the allegations, as did Kim.
“Was I a deadbeat? Was I broke? Was I a drug addict? Was I a homosexual? There were all kind of rumors about me because nobody knew who this guy was dating, and eventually marrying, Kim Fields,” he said
The two have more than proved their love for each other, and their staying power. Congratulations, Kim and Chris!
When Charlotte Rae, the veteran actress who played boarding school house-mother Edna Garrett in "Facts of Life" passed away on August 5, 2018, two of her screen "daughters" gave eulogies at her funeral.
Kim Fields and Mindy Cohn were there to say their final goodbyes to the 92-year-old Rae, and to remember all that she had been to them, and to the whole cast.
Cohn played Natalie Green on the show, while Fields starred as Tootie Ramsey, the youngest of the girls, and Mrs. Garrett's special pet.
