The Duggar Family Tree
Keeping track of the all the Duggars from "19 Kids & Counting" is somewhat of a daunting task – there are so many of them. Here's what you need to know.
The Duggars rose to fame with their hit reality show, "19 Kids & Counting." It started out as "18 Kids & Counting," but they had to change the name as the family grew.
THE DUGGAR PARENTS
The Duggar parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, rule their family with an iron fist. The couple tied the knot in 1984, and they weren't always as religious as they are today.
After suffering a miscarriage, Jim Bob and Michelle decided to have as many children as God blessed them with. They believed that Michelle miscarried due to the birth control she was using.

"To My Dearest Michelle, You are the sweetest wife any guy could ever have. You are beautiful inside and out. Words cannot fully express how deeply I love you! You are such a great mother & grandmother. You are so sensitive to others and have such a heart to encourage those around you and point them to Jesus...." The couple was expecting their 20th child in 2011. They later announced that Michelle had miscarried and that they had named their unborn baby Jubilee Shalom.
ADULT DUGGAR CHILDREN
There are 19 Duggar children in total. The eldest son, Josh Duggar, was born in 1998 and is married to Anna Duggar (nee Keller.)
They share five children – Mackynzie Renee, Michael, Marcus, Meredith Grace, and Mason – and are expecting their sixth child.
Jana Marie and John David Duggar are twins, born in 1990. Jana is the eldest daughter of the Duggar clan and still unmarried, an anomaly in the Duggar household.
Her brother John-David is married to Abbie Burnett. Like his sister Jana, John-David also strayed from tradition by not having children.
Jill, the second daughter, was born a year later in 1991. She is married to Derick Dillard and the couple shares two sons, Israel David, and Samuel Scott.
Jessa was born in 1992. She tied the knot with Ben Seewald in 1995; they are the proud parents of two sons, Spurgeon Elliot and Henry Wilberforce.
Jim and Michelle's fourth daughter, Jinger, made headlines for being the rebellious Duggar daughter by wearing pants instead of dresses.
She is married to soccer star and preacher, Jeremy Vuolo and shares one daughter. Felicity Nicole Vuolo made her arrival two years after their wedding.
Joseph Duggar was born in 1995 and is married to Kendra Caldwell. They share one son, Darrett David, and are expecting their second child.
His younger brother, Josiah, was born a year later and is today married to Laura Swanson. They dated for less than a year and tied the knot in 2018.

Can’t believe it’s already been a year since we said “I do”. I remember the big day and just how excited we both were about getting married. Ohh the memories! We’ve had more downs than ups than any newly married couple should ever have. We wouldn’t trade it for anything. It’s our story. We are SO blessed!❤️ Looking forward to growing old and more in love with you.
His younger sister, Joy-Anna, or Joy for short, was born in 1997. The 21-year-old is married to Austin Forsythe, and share one child.
UNMARRIED DUGGAR CHILDREN
The rest of the Duggar clan include twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, 20, as well as 19-year-old Jason, 18-year-old James, 16-year-old Justin, and 15-year-old Jackson.
The four youngest Duggar children are 13-year-old Johannah, 11-year-old Jennifer, 10-year-old Jordyn-Grace and 9-year-old Josie.
When "19 Kids & Counting" was canceled, the network offered the two eldest married Duggar woman – Jill and Jessa – the opportunity to appear in a spin-off titled "Counting On."
Jill left the show after her husband Derick made transphobic comments on Twitter about one of the network's other stars, Jazz Jennings.
