Khloé Kardashian Speaks out about Ex Lamar Odom's Memoir Where He Gets Candid about Addiction
Khloé Kardashian is keeping it real about what she thinks of her ex-husband Lamar Odom sharing candid details of his addiction and their failed marriage.
The 35-year-old reality star opened up about her feelings in a preview clip for the upcoming season of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

In Lamar’s memoir “Darkness to Light,” the former NBA star held nothing back about his personal life, including a cocaine addiction and the fact that he couldn’t seem to stop cheating on then-wife Khloé.
Lamar, 39, even went as far as revealing that he once threatened to kill the youngest Kardashian sister while under the influence of drugs.
KHLOÉ'S OPINION
In a sneak peek for season 17 of “KUWTK,” Khloé sat with big sister Kim Kardashian to discuss how she feels about Lamar letting it all out.
“It’s his truth, he’s allowed to tell his version,” she told Kim. “Him and I each played a significant role in each other’s lives so I think it’s natural, like, if I talk about my past, I would hope my marriage would be a chapter that I would talk about and for him, the same thing.”
Khloé continued:
“If he feels like talking about it and if this is a form of healing or therapy I actually think it’s really courageous to talk about the amount of addiction that he’s had, the depths of it. So it doesn’t bother me. I appreciate it’s so honest. It’s not all great but I appreciate the honesty in it.”
WHAT KHLOÉ LOVED ABOUT LAMAR'S "TRUTH"
One thing made the “Good American” boss especially happy about Lamar’s confessions, however, and it’s the basketball player admitting how much he loved filming “Khloé and Lamar,” a “KUWTK” special that aired for a year during their marriage.
“I like that he said how much he loved filming ‘cause all of that was true,” she added. “‘Khloe and Lamar’ was not my doing. He pushed and pushed. He was like ‘I loved it’ and I was like ‘Oh good, stay in your truth.'”
ROCKY PAST
Khloé and Lamar were married from 2009 to 2013 when the reality star filed for divorce amid allegations of substance abuse and a string of infidelities.
A year before their divorce was finalized in 2016, Lamar suffered a near-fatal overdose and Khloé rushed to the athlete's side at the hospital while he remained in a coma. Despite enduring a tumultuous marriage, both exes seem to be in a better place with each other now.

MOVING ON
Khloé recently went through another emotional rollercoaster with her cheating baby daddy Tristan Thompson, but that didn’t stop her from celebrating Lamar when his memoir made the New York Times’ best-sellers list in June.
Lamar, on the other hand, has found love again with personal trainer Sabrina Parr and seems to be quite the romantic these days.
