A FAMILY AFFAIR

Dylan Edmonds, the youngest of two children Tracey shares with her ex-husband, Babyface, has moved out of their home to embark on college life in New York.

Tracey discloses in a post that she and Dylan’s father were on hand for their son’s move. She showed photos of the family inside Dylan’s new dorm room at Sara Lawrence and revealed in her caption that they’ve been helping him unpack and settle in.

“#ProudMama moments,” the “Extra” host writes in her caption. “Fam... GRAB SOME TISSUE FOR ME... my youngest son Dylan has FLOWN THE COOP and arrived at #SaraLawrence in New York to start college!!” read the continuation of her bittersweet message.

Tracey and Babyface were married for 13 years before they called it quits in 2005. Though many were shocked with the news of their separation and when the 61-year-old crooner later admitted that they “weren’t really in love with each other,” they proved not all was lost between them.

Tracey further says that moments of unpacking with their son who interned with her during the summer were “PRICELESS.” She also delighted in the fact that Babyface was there.

“Blessed to have his dad @babyface there with us to support,” said the 52-year-old businesswoman and television personality.

Having met Dylan’s new roommates and seeing where he was going to be staying, Tracey admitted, “I’ll be able to go home knowing that he is [in] a GREAT PLACE!!”

FRIENDSHIP AFTER MARRIAGE

Tracey and Babyface were married for 13 years before they called it quits in 2005. Though many were shocked with the news of their separation and when the 61-year-old crooner later admitted that they “weren’t really in love with each other,” they proved not all was lost between them.

In 2013, the singer told Oprah Winfrey that they remained good friends as co-parents to their two sons. They also share an older son, Brandon.

“Tracy’s a good girl. She’s the mother of my children and we have a great relationship and we live to make sure our children are happy,” he said.

LOVING TRACY'S MAN

Babyface also revealed that he held high respect for Tracey’s current man, Deion Sanders who gave him the courtesy of meeting him first before being introduced to their boys.

“I knew that Deion, Mr. Prime Time, seems like a nice guy. But he became a classy guy when he called me and said he didn’t want to meet my children until he sat down and had lunch or breakfast with me, so he knew me before he met my children,” he told an impressed Oprah.

Babyface has since married Nicole Pantenburg with whom he shares daughter, Peyton. Meanwhile, Tracey had a short-lived marriage to Eddie Murphy in 2008 before settling down with Deion in 2012. They just got engaged in February.
