LL Cool J hosted this year's Kennedy Center Honors, and his wife Simone Smith gave him her full support by attending the event. Of course, with all eyes on her husband that night, she made sure to wear something memorable for people to take notice of.

Being the fashionista that she is, she decided to wear a body-hugging corset and a black tulle skirt, which she donned with her statement braided hair.

Simone Smith and LL Cool J have been married for 24 years, and up until today, they are each other's biggest supporters.

LL COOL J HOSTS THE 42ND ANNUAL KENNEDY CENTER HONORS

This year, LL Cool J was designated as the 42nd Annual Kennedy Center Honors host, where he is going to celebrate the awards for Earth Wind & Fire, actress Sally Field, Sesame Street, conductor Michael Tilson Thomas, and singer Linda Ronstadt.

Back in 2017, LL Cool J became the first rapper to earn the Kennedy Center Honors, which is one of the greatest achievements for any performer in America.

Of course, there was no one better to bring that night, but his wife. Simone Smith and LL Cool J have been married for 24 years, and up until today, they are each other's biggest supporters.

After meeting in 1987, they dated for 8 years before getting married in 1995. Together, they share four children, Najee, 29, Italia, 28, Samaria, 23, and Nina, 18.

It's not just LL Cool J who gets support from his wife, however, as he also supports his wife in her love for fashion. Simone Smith always makes sure to share her outfits with her fans, much to their delight.
