Jennifer Lopez Says Daughter Emme Has Performance Gene after Her 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Performance
Jennifer Lopez is getting fierce competition from her 11-year-old daughter, Emme, whom she claims inherited her performance gene following their joint Super Bowl appearance.
Like mother like daughter, are the words that perfectly describe the music star, Jenifer Lopez, 50, and her daughter, Emme, 11. The latter joined her mom on the Super Bowl field, and the singer told Jimmy Fallon about that moment,
"She has a performance gene where she doesn't let it in her mind, how big or how it scares you."

Lopez, who appeared on "The Tonight Show" after epically sharing the stage with her daughter, noted that Emme doesn't get stage fright, she added that:
"That's what you have to do when you're up there; you kind of have to control [yourself]."
The mother and daughter made history at the halftime performance at the Hard Rock Stadium. Lopez's daughter, who she shares with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, stole the show.
The mother-daughter duo performed her hit song "Let's Get Loud." The excitement of the little girl was evident as a group of young performers' joined her and her mother.
She wrote that her deepest wish is for Emme and little girls around the world to know that they can use their voice and be proud of who they are.
Lopez and her child also sang some lines from Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA." Emme's vocal prowess was so impressive that Alex Rodriguez — JLo's fiancé's — children, Natasha, 15, and Ella, 11, complimented her.
The sisters gushed about the soon-to-be 12-year-old girl come February 22nd, to ET. Natasha told the news outlet,
"It was the coolest thing to watch [Emme] sing. I'm so proud of her every time I see her, and her voice is angelic."
Before Lopez and her daughter took the stage, they had a little pre-performance ritual. First, the proud mom-of-two kissed her daughter, and they had a moment to do some warm-up exercises while waiting for Shakira to finish her opening act.
The "I'm Into You" singer gushed at the moment in an Instagram post. She wrote that her deepest wish is for Emme and little girls around the world to know that they can use their voice and be proud of who they are.
Lopez celebrated the Super Bowl moment afterward with a party on a yacht in Florida. She had about 50 to 60 guests, including Rodriguez and her dancers.
The "Hustlers" star said in a speech during the party that it was the most crucial stage she has taken "Yet." She added that she is better for it, and she never takes opportunities for granted.
