Valentine's Day is a day set out to celebrate love, and Janet Jackson kept to the traditions of the Day by celebrating it doing the thing she loves best — music.

The beautiful and ageless singer shared a black-and-white photo, which showed her in the studio, a "SHURE" headphone plugged into her ears, eyes closed, and her mouth open, singing a new tune.

That, for Janet Jackson, is a perfect way to celebrate the Day of Love, and her fans would not be surprised by it, given the number of great tunes that she has dished out over the years.

Janet Jackson's caption to the lovely photo showed that she had her fans at heart. She wrote:

As expected, Janet's fans could barely wait to see and listen to what she was cooking in the studio, and some of them took to the comment section of her post, to share their enthusiasm.

One fan wrote, "Can't wait," while another fan said, "OHHHH WE ABOUT TO GET AN ALBUM, ALBUM." The fans would surely get to find out whatever it is that Janet Jackson has up her sleeves in the days to come.

Jackson's tour will begin on June 24, in Miami, and she would tour several cities in North America.

The "Black Diamond" hashtag that Jackson used in her post's caption continues the media push for her next album and tour, which would go by that title.

The singer earlier spoke to Ryan Seacrest to reveal details about the tour and album name, and why her new project was essential to her. About Black Diamond, Janet said:

"The black diamonds are the toughest to cut, for me that totally translated to the hardest to hurt, to destroy... I've really realized how strong I am as a woman and I see myself as a rock."

Jackson also added that although she had some rough edges, she wanted to show her strength and share some of her experiences, and hoped that by doing that, it would inspire others and give them power if they needed it.

The American singer announced that she would be hitting the road on a new tour, earlier in the month, with the tour set to kick off in North America in the Summer.
