A STRIKING RESEMBLANCE

Fans of Keyshia were quick to notice Keyshia’s resemblance to her mother. But many were amazed at how much Ella looked like Keshia during her days portraying Rudy in the “Cosby Show.”

“Your baby girl is looking more and more like you when you were a little girl,” a fan wrote while another added, “Lil Rudy.”

A TURBULENT PAST

Keshia had Ella through her short-lived marriage to Ed Hartwell. The pair’s six-month marriage ended in divorce after Ed accused Keshia of cheating on him. He even doubted Ella’s paternity.

Keshia would later learn that it was Ed who had cheated on her with a woman, Tonya Carroll, who he had been seeing even before he and Keshia got married. She also proved Ella was indeed Ed’s daughter and that she never cheated on him. Ed married Tonya in 2019.

Keshia gave birth to Ella in 2017 when she and Ed had already parted ways. The couple tied the knot in January 2016 and parted ways by July that same year.

A custody battle ensued following their divorce with Ed filing for joint custody of Ella. However, the judge sided with Keshia and retained her full custody in 2019.

A HAPPY PRESENT

Keshia now lives happily with her daughter who often graces her social media. She's currently dating “For Better or Worse” actor Brad James. Keshia made their relationship Instagram-official in October when they attended the opening of Tyler Perry Studios together.

The couple had known each other for years since they had both been working on projects for Tyler Perry. However, it was only in 2019 when their professional relationship turned romantic. On Valentine's Day, Keshia shared a sweet selfie of the two of them looking in love. She noted how much they were starting to look alike.
