Shaquille O'Neal Spends Time with His Mom before Mother's Day in a Sweet Post

A-list entertainer Shaquille O'Neal warmed the hearts of fans in a new post where he shared some mom-son moments with his mother.

On his Instagram page, the "Uncle Drew" star gave fans a sneak peek of his mom, Lucille O'Neal in a rare mom-son video and some photos.

Lucille once shared that her son's basketball dreams were valid, but she made sure that he didn't miss out on education.

The clip showed Shaq and his mom sitting in a part of their home while they had several throwback photos on the table.

The two also had a photo scanner on the tabl3.as they went through memories of the celebrity's childhood.O'Neal wrote in his caption:

"What will I be doing for #MothersDay? Thanks to the #Fastfoto scanner, it will be mom, me, and our favorite memories…"

Fans in the comments didn't hesitate to admire the basketball legend and his mom. They had myriads of lovely words for the duo while anticipating Mothers' Day.

Last year, Lucille had some tidbits to share about raising her son, whose remarkable stature rocked the world of basketball.

In an interview with Today, the O'Neal matriarch made it known that her mother had sensed that Shaquille was exceptional right from childhood. Lucille made it known that the versatile celebrity was her first child, and she had him when she was seventeen.

The socialite added that Shaq had basketball dreams from childhood, and they made sure he went to college as well.

According to The Source, Lucille once shared that her son's basketball dreams were valid, but she made sure that he didn't miss out on education. She told Scoop B that she and Shaq struck a deal after he made it to the NBA draft. She told the publication:

"We had a deal, you do this now and go back to school later… He needed to finish his college education…"

VC Star reports that Lucille was once a keynote speaker at the 15th Annual Great Futures for Kids Breakfast, where she opened up on her struggles while growing up, Enduring different vices, and eventually being a strong mom.

Lucille's story can be referred to as one full of perseverance. After carrying out her parental duties for many years, the star mom took a bold step and headed to college, where she graduated Summa cum Laude in 2003.
