Michael Jordan's Daughter Jasmine Shares Photo with Son Rakeem Michael Who Recently Turned 1
Michael Jordan's daughter Jasmine shares an adorable snap of her little boy sporting his own pair of Air Jordans as he turned a year old.
Jasmine Jordan is one proud mom, and she made sure to celebrate her son's special day despite them being in quarantine. In a shoe cabinet filled with different pairs of sneakers, she hung a "Happy Birthday" sign and a silver "one" balloon to make their house a little more festive.
In the picture, Jasmine is seen holding on to her growing little boy, who was sporting a pair of Air Jordans. She made sure to let him know that she is "never letting go," and that until the end of time, they will make a great team.
RAKEEM TURNS 1
Jasmine and her fiancé Rakeem Christmas also made sure to celebrate their son's birthday with a special portrait of him inside an Air Jordan 1 sneaker, the same ones featured in his grandfather Michael Jordan's docuseries "The Last Dance."
"Becoming YOUR mother has been beyond fulfilling. You came into my world and turned it upside down. I was so scared when I first laid eyes on you."
A MOTHER'S LOVE
In her birthday message, Jordan acknowledged that when Rakeem was born, she was frightened knowing he would need her for life. However, she soon realized that it was she who needed him more than anything in this world, and she's now looking forward to their lives together.
Just like how Michael Jordan went on to have a private life after the NBA, her daughter has done the same. She initially did not announce her son's name, often referring to him as "RMC."
LIFE AS A GRANDFATHER
Later on, it was confirmed that their son's name is Rakeem Michael Christmas, mixing her fiancé and her dad's name together. Ultimately, Michael loves having his grandchild around, and it's been a lot of fun for him to have him around.
"It's fun because I can actually hold him and play with him and I'm having fun watching him."

Jasmine works as a field representative for the Jordan Brand after studying sports management, while Rakeem is in professional basketball. They continue to keep a close relationship with Michael, and the grandfather-and-son duo gets to spend a lot of time together.
