Dwyane Wade and His Transgender Daughter Zaya Flaunt Vibrant New Hair Colors in New Posts
Dwyane Wade and his transgender daughter, Zaya, are switching things up as they show off their matching hair hue in new social media posts.
Dwyane Wade and his 12-year-old daughter, Zaya, just set new standards for father-daughter relationships everywhere.
The former basketball star switched things up by flaunting his new ruby red hair, and his daughter, Zaya, decided to get in on the action too!

The retired NBA superstar took to his Instagram page to share photos of his new hair color, among which was a repost of a collage of himself and Dennis Rodman, a former basketball athlete who had also rocked the hair color sometime in the past.
The repost had a comment from Rodman superimposed at the bottom, and it read, "Nice. Hair. Brother"— Dwyane used the same words to caption the post.
Unlike her father, Zaya unveiled her hair color in a TikTok video, which was later uploaded to Dwyane's Instagram Story.

As the short footage begins, Dwyane could be seen walking into a pool before the video cuts to him sitting behind the wheels of a convertible alongside his daughter whose hair color was a shade lighter than her dad's.
He urged other parents to keep an open mind, do their research, and have conversations with their children.
Earlier this month, Dwyane's wife, Union, shared an update from their life in quarantine, revealing that Zaya doesn't depend on her and her hubby to help with her homework but would rather wait for her tutors.
Dwyane opened up about Zaya's journey; he confirmed his daughter is transgender. According to Dwyane, Zaya had known she was transgender since she was 3-years old.

Dwyane admitted that when the truth came to light, he had to do a lot of thinking to understand better how to support his daughter.
He also told Roberts that Zaya was the leading authority on the subject when it came to educating them on the transgender community. Being in the public eye, the proud father said his family acknowledges that they have to help others by speaking out.
Wade urged other parents to keep an open mind, do their research, and have conversations with their children. In March, the 38-year-old father joined his wife for Zaya's red carpet debut at the Better Brothers' Truth Awards in Los Angeles.
Aside from Zaya, Dwyane is also father to Zaire and Xavier — all from previous relationships. He and Gabrielle Union, welcomed their first child, Kaavia, together in November 2018.
