LL Cool J Poses during Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony with His Wife & 4 Kids in an Old Photo
LL Cool J's only son proudly shared a throwback photo of their family at a ceremony where the rapper received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
LL Cool J is a legendary rapper with two Grammy awards and eight platinum albums to his name. Topping it off with a successful acting career, his years in the entertainment business reached new heights in 2016.
It was the year he received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. While looking back on that day, his only son, Najee, shared a photo from the ceremony. In his caption, he proudly gloated, "Period."
In the photo, LL Cool J stood with the coveted plaque in his hand while his wife Simone Smith and their children, Najee, Italia, Nina, and Samaria, stood on either side of him.
"This is everything," one fan gushed. Another fan said, "beautiful family." Simone commented on the post with five heart emojis to represent her family in her favorite color, purple.

P. Diddy was on hand to give the introductory speech, and Queen Latifah also came out to support her friend and fellow rapper.
A year later, LL Cool J took was given another award at the 40th Annual Kennedy Center Honors when he became the first Hip Hop rapper to receive the presidential honor. While celebrating the achievement, he said:
"I believe that we are built to do anything we put our minds and proper actions to. Manifest our dreams and make them a reality."
LL Cool J has successfully navigated his music career as both a gangster rapper and a sex symbol. However, the balance wasn't always easy for his wife.
It is reported, Simone was upset with him after the release of his video for "Doin’ it" because they had just gotten married, and she thought it was too raunchy for a married man.
During an episode of Oprah's "Next Chapter," Simone revealed that she didn't talk to him two weeks because she was upset over his appearance in the video.
LL Cool J admitted that after the experience, he took his wife's advice and decided to tone down his sex appeal in his music videos.
