Zoë Kravitz and her husband Karl Glusman celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary with rarely seen black and white photos from their special day.
Newlyweds Zoë Kravitz and Karl Glusman hit the one-year stretch of their beautiful union. In honor of their special day, the couple shared rarely seen photos from their wedding reception.
According to Essence, the couple enjoyed a summer destination wedding at Lenny Kravitz's mansion in Paris, France. As Zoë reflected on the day, she shared a black and white photo from their reception and simply wrote, "one year."
In the photo, Karl looked stylish in a black tuxedo, which attached a flower on the lapel of his jacket. In a heartfelt message, he professed his love for Zoë saying:
"I love you. More than anything. You're my best friend...you melt my heart. I'll do anything and everything for you until the day I die."
In Karl's tribute to his wife, he admitted that in the year since tying the knot, it had not been what they expected. However, he gave a sense of optimism and said they would get through it together.
"I feel like if we can make it through this, we can take on anything. Now let's go save the world," he wrote. His father-in-law commented on the post and gushed over how proud he was to welcome Karl to the family.

The couple's wedding was a star-studded event, which included guests such as Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Alicia Keys, Cara Delevingne, and Donald Glover. Her mother Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa were joined by their young children.
For the wedding reception, Zoë matched Karl's impeccable style in a gown inspired by Audrey Hepburn. It was a custom tea-length ballet design by Alexander Wang. The actress went jewelry-free and accessorized with a knotted bow headband.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Zoë shared a few of the lessons that she had learned while spending the days quarantined in her home, she said:
"Don't try to control anything. Be thankful for every moment and everyone in your life who you love. Ice cream always helps."
According to Vogue, there was a lot of secrecy around Zoë's and Karl's highly anticipated summer nuptials in Paris.
The couple waited almost six months before making their wedding photos public on their social media pages at the start of the year. Considering how beautiful the photos turned out, it was worth the wait.
