Dog the Bounty Hunter's Daughter Cecily Opens up about Mom Beth during 1st Death Anniversary Memorial

Time sure flies by as it’s already been a year since Beth Chapman passed away on June 26, 2020. Her daughter, Cecily, paid tribute to her mother on the anniversary of her death.

A memorial was held by Cecily in Hawaii for her late mother Beth. The late reality star’s daughter shared how she believed her mother had been “with her” at her “bittersweet” anniversary memorial.

Taking to social media, Cecily shared some images from the event. She confessed how she’d struggled with a mixture of emotions as they marked the one year anniversary of her tragic death.

WHAT KILLED BETH

The “Dog the Bounty Hunter” star died from cancer last year. Cecily also revealed that she could feel her mother’s “presence” with her throughout the day.

Despite spending the year filled with sadness, she noted how the Chapman family had something positive to look forward to. She is set to marry her fiancé Matthew and her father, Duane “Dog” is also going to wed his fiancée Francie Frane.

A SPECIAL EVENT FOR BETH

Speaking to “The Sun,” Cecily confessed that for several days leading up to the anniversary of her mother’s death; she’d felt sad. She spent the time thinking about making the event special and including “the best flowers” for it.

The late star’s daughter shared how she’d worked on the event for a month, hoping to make it perfect. On the day, she was inundated by the ongoings and it was “kind of a bittersweet distraction” but it “got me through it.”

HOW THE MEMORIAL WAS SPENT

The memorial included a hike to one of Beth's favorite spots and a sunset paddle in the ocean. Cecily also revealed that a lot of people weren’t able to attend the event.

DUANE’S CHILDREN

Duane is a father to a total of 12 children. His first child was son Christopher Michael Hecht, but he died by suicide and Duane only found out about him after.

CHILDREN BY HIS 1ST EX-WIFE

He then had two sons, Duane Lee II and Leland Blane Chapman with his first ex-wife. With his second ex-wife, he had three children, Zebadiah who died 30 days after birth, and two sons, Wesley and James Robert Chapman.

DUANE’S KIDS WITH 3RD WIFE

Duane then had three more children with his third wife. Daughter Barbara Katie passed away in a car crash on May 19, 2006, son Tucker Dee, and Lyssa Rae Chapman are still alive.

CECILY’S FATHER

With Beth, he had a daughter Bonnie Joanne and son Garry Chapman. Cecily is Beth's daughter by her ex-husband, Keith A. Barmore, whom Duane adopted.

The “Dog’s Most Wanted” reality star continues to mourn his wife but has found love again with Frane.
