"Meet the Browns" star Terri J. Vaughn took to Instagram to celebrate her husband, Karon Riley's 42nd birthday with a sweet post.

Riley is Vaugh's second husband with her first being with her college sweetheart. She married the football player in 2008 and they have been together ever since.

Vaughn opened up about their relationship, revealing that she is a hopeless romantic who loves being married and loves love.

She also stressed the importance of sex in her relationship.

Penning a piece for Essence, Vaugn admitted that her experiences in her first marriage taught her not only how to be comfortable in her own skin, but also to be aware of her shortcomings in a relationship.

The actress also spoke about the importance of communication, adding that she was happy that she was finally able to express herself freely and healthily. Vaughn said:

"We both have strong, independent and authentic identities, but because we trust each other, these are not threats to our union. Regular, open and respectful communication keeps us connected."

She also stressed the importance of sex in her relationship and highlighted financial incompatibility as a leading cause of divorce.

In April 2008, the couple welcomed their first child together, Kal'El Joseph Riley, who's also Vaughn's second child. Her eldest is Daylen from her previous relationship. The pair also have a daughter together, Lola Riley.

Last year, as Vaughn celebrated her 50th birthday, the actress marked the milestone by stripping down to her underwear for a stunning post shared to her Instagram.
