American actress Dee Dee Davis of "The Bernie Mac Show" fame, showed off her beautiful braids in a new post she shared with fans on her Instagram Story.

Actress Dee Dee Davis is best known for her role as Bryana "Baby Girl" Thomkins on "The Bernie Mac Show," which earned her a Young Artist Award.

Davis has an Instagram account through which she shares some of her life's moments with her fans. In a new post on her Instagram story, the 24-year-old showed off her lovely braids.

The post, which Davis made from within her home, showed her in a black hoodie top. She wore light makeup and looked beautiful as she spoke in the video.

The highlight was Davis's braids, which matched her face perfectly. The long braids reached down to her chest area and also rhymed with her skin color.

Davis's 3-year-old son, whom she shares with her partner, Smokey Lee Jackson, did not feature in the post. However, the proud mom regularly shares some of his pictures with her fans on social media.

In December last year, she posted two pictures on her Twitter page that showed the little tot clad in sweatshirts that had cartoon characters, captioning it,

"Can you tell my boy is a Gemini."

Though Davis has made guest appearances in television drama series like "The Game," "ER," and "Strong Medicine," her most famous role to date was in "The Bernie Mac Show."

Smith, Winbush, Suarez, and Davis came together for a reunion in 2018, showing tremendous changes in their physical appearance.

The sitcom ran on television for five seasons from 2001 to 2006 and told the story of how Bernie and his wife, Wanda, suddenly became parents of three children after his sister dropped off her kids, Bryanna, Jordan, and Vanessa, while on her way to rehab.

The sitcom's cast included the late Bernie Mac, who played himself, Kellita Smith, who played Wanda, Camille Winbush, who portrayed Vannessa, Jeremy Suarez, who portrayed Jordan, and Davis.

Smith, Winbush, Suarez, and Davis came together for a reunion in 2018, showing tremendous changes in their physical appearance since the show last aired. Winbush shared a picture of them at the reunion and wrote in her caption that she was having a moment with her family.

Davis also recalled unforgettable memories from the show in a Twitter post on December 21, 2019, showing some scenes from the show and other previously unseen pictures.

On October 5, the actress wished the late Bernie Mac a posthumous birthday, calling him "Uncle Bernie." Accompanying the post was an old photograph of her and the late comedian.

Mac died in 2008, aged 50, due to complications arising from pneumonia. He was married to Rhonda McCullough and shared a daughter, Je'Niece, with her.
