Angelina Jolie Allowed to Sell Her Share of $164 Million French Wine Brand Co-owned by Brad Pitt
A judge has allowed Angelina Jolie to sell her share in her and Brad Pitt's joint wine business worth $164 million. This was confirmed as of September 23, amid their custody battle.
Angelina Jolie has been granted access and permission to sell her shares in the French wine business she owns with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt valued at $164 million.
A recent update has also shown that while Jolie can gain returns by selling her shares, legal proceedings are still tied. However, the judge's assent was a standard ruling that Pitt did not oppose.

INSIDE JOLIE'S BID TO SELL HER SHARES
Reports showed that as of July, the "Salt" actress filed documents requesting that the restraining order on the transfer of her and Pitt's assets be lifted. This was in a bid to gather her interest in Nouvel, LLC, their joint French winery establishment.
A judge has signed off on her request in new documents after she and Pitt agreed to lift the restraining order. The former couple bought the Miraval chateau in 2011 for $60 million.

With all these in place, it is safe to say that Jolie has the go-ahead to bring in a third party to the Southern France wine business by selling her shares. The issues of the French winery started a few weeks ago.
Pitt accused his former wife of trying to hinder him from a potential sale. The suit also accused Nouvel of not acting in the "best interests" of the company that owns Chateau Miraval.
JOLIE ON HER DIVORCE DECISION
The award-winning actress and her A-lister ex-spouse are at loggerheads over child custody, among other things, but she has shared that it took a lot. Jolie noted that she did not consider her divorce decision something to be taken lightly.
The star was with the father of her children for a decade and said it was pretty weighty for her to opt for separation and she wanted to be sure there was support for her six children.
The Oscar-winning actress revealed she felt "broken" by all the experiences following the divorce, and she only wished for everyone, including Pitt, to find a way to move on, adding that she wanted everyone to heal and be peaceful.
JOLIE AND PITT KIDS
The Hollywood icons are parents to Maddox, who is now an adult, Zahara,16, Pax, 17, Shiloh,15, and twins, Vivienne and Knox, who are thirteen years old. Since the saga started, all six of them have had their names in the spotlight.
Jolie and Pitt have joint custody of the children, but the court battles are not sliding because Jolie is fighting to have full guardianship. Although it has been messy, she makes sure the kids are a top priority.

Maddox is one of three children Pitt and Jolie adopted. The 20-year old is of Cambodian descent and was adopted at seven months. Zahara was adopted from Ethiopia in 2005; their star parents adopted Pax from Vietnam.
Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne are the youngest of the Jolie-Pitt brood and the former couple's biological children. One fun fact is that Vivienne starred in "Maleficent" back in 2014 because she was the only kid not scared of Jolie's horns.
