Bryce Dallas Howard Turns 42 – See Father Ron Howard & Other Stars Shower Her with Birthday Wishes

Since welcoming his daughter, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ron Howard shared that his life's greatest joy has been watching his daughter — who followed in his footsteps and pursued a career as an actor— become an amazing woman, mother, and wife.

In honor of his daughter's birthday on March 2, 2023, Ron shared a throwback of a sleeping Bryce with her signature red hair as she clutched a blue stuffed animal.

The Hollywood heavyweight was not the only star to celebrate Bryce's birthday, as the actress was spoiled with birthday wishes from the likes of Octavia Spencer, Viola Davis, and Judy Greer.

In the Instagram post dedicated to his daughter, Ron gushed about how proud his daughter made him and their family, and the caption, in part, read:

"Ever evolving, she's somehow personally ambitious & generous & loving all at once."

Ron and his wife, Cheryl Howard, conceived their daughter in Dallas, Texas—hence her second name—and welcomed Bryce in Los Angeles, California, on March 2, 1981. Her father is not the only one of her parents with experience in film, as her mother is an actress and writer.

Stars Pour Out Good Wishes to Bryce Dallas Howard

On her special day, Bryce received birthday shoutouts from the "Jurassic Park" franchise social media account and fellow actress and former "The Help" co-star Octavia Spencer.

Octavia posted a picture of Bryce and captioned it, "It's this icon's birthday today! Please join me in wishing @brycedhoward the happiest of days in the comments below!"

Bryce wrote an equally sentimental response as she thanked Octavia, expressed her love for her, and ended the message with red hearts.

Viola Davis and Judy Greer also celebrated Bryce's birthday on Instagram and shared pictures with Ron's daughter. "Happiest of birthdays, @brycedhoward! Keep slaying! Love you," Viola wrote and Judy typed, "Happy birthday to the effortlessly talented @brycedhoward!! I loved playing your sister. Twice."

Bryce's Father Was the Birthday Boy Himself Just a Day Ago

The day before her birthday, it was Bryce Dallas Howard's turn to celebrate her father—who she inherited her ginger locks from—on his birthday. The actress shared a throwback of a younger Ron with a moustache in 1893 as he held a baby Bryce in his arms.

Bryce captioned the post, in part, "Daddio, you are my best friend — always have been, always will be. I love you. Happy Birthday." In the second slide, Bryce was visibly older as she sat on the floor with her father who read her a bedtime story.
