In late March 2023, Nicolas Cage, then 59, was a proud father to a newborn baby girl, whom he was seen carrying after landing at JFK Airport. The actor shares his seven-month-old daughter, August Francesca Coppola Cage, with his wife, Riko Shibata, then 27.

One person confessed that they'd mistakenly thought the images were of the star "with his two kids" while referring to his 31-year-younger wife. Another person laughed a the idea of the celebrity being "58 changing diapers."
The follower noted how confident men were to do that and wondered how Shibata's husband felt "because the reality of raising a child is something else." Someone else said Nicolas' wife looked "like his daughter," adding:
"I guess it's good she's so young; she'll be around longer for their child."

Another unhappy fan thought Shibata looked "like 10." The "Ghost Rider" star was dressed in a neon yellow jacket, a black T-shirt, and matching pants and boots for his outing with his family in New York City.
Shibata wore a black puffer jacket with colorful detailing on the shoulders, a black maxi dress, matching boots, and a red beanie. The actor's wife accessorized her look with a yellow bag and a black purse and seemed to have gone makeup-free.

What Is Nicolas's Love Story with His Wife, and How Did They Get Engaged?
In October 2021, Nicolas revealed that he and his wife met through mutual friends in Shiga, Japan. At the time, the actor was filming the 2021 movie "Prisoners of the Ghostland," and in February 2020, the pair were photographed together for the first time.

The duo was seen holding hands while visiting his nine-foot New Orleans tomb, which he purchased for himself in 2010. In August 2020, Nicolas confessed on his brother Marc Coppola's radio show that he and Shibata had engaged.
The celebrity shared how she left New York for Kyoto, Japan - her original country - and he went back to Nevada, and they hadn't seen each other for six months. He realized how happy they'd been together, and they were excited to spend time with each other.

So one day, while they were on FaceTime, he confessed to Shibata that he wanted to marry her, and that's how they got engaged. After proposing, Nicolas mailed a unique black diamond ring to his then-fiancée.
Since her favorite color was black, she wanted black gold and black diamond, which the star found, customized, and personalized before sending it via FedEx. The celebrity's other children were sons Kal-El and Weston, whom he had from previous relationships.

According to a representative, Shibata and her husband married in a small, intimate wedding at Las Vegas' Wynn Hotel. The marriage seemed to be the first one for August's mother but the fifth for Nicolas, who once said:
"I know five is a lot, but I think I got it right this time."

One of the actor's older children was in his 30s in 2023, and he followed his father's career path but also included his passion. He made Nicolas a first-time grandfather in 2014 before welcoming more children.
Who Are Nicolas's Two Other Children?
Weston was born on December 26, 1990, and was Nicolas' oldest child whom he shared with his then-girlfriend, Christina Fulton. The oldest Cage child worked as an actor and a musician, having starred as the frontman for Eyes of Noctum and Arsh Anubis.
The latter metal band was one he founded, and he's featured in many of his father's movies. His big screen debut was in "Lord of the War" in 2005, and he's appeared in a handful of others, including 2021's "Fear and Loathing in Aspen."
In 2019, Weston confessed that he was encouraged, and it was predicted that he'd become an actor, having spent most of his childhood meeting with friends to create videotaped stories. However, coming from a famous family proved challenging when he started his career.
The star's son said people assumed he relied on his family name to get acting roles. Weston revealed that he'd communicate with people before realizing they'd defined him without getting to know him.
The actor [Nicolas Cage] said the end of his marriage to [Alice] Kim shocked him as he hadn't seen it coming.
In 2011, he married Nikki Williams before their marriage concluded, and in 2013 he married Danielle Cage. In 2014, he and his wife welcomed a son Lucian, and two years later, another one, Sorin, was born before they separated a year later.
His third wife, Hila Cage Coppola, tied the knot with him in 2018, and two years later, they welcomed twin girls. In 2015, Nicolas described his son as "the total artist," noting how he could do things he'd only dreamt about, like singing, composing music, acting, cooking, and being a loving father, before stating:
"To see my son with my grandson is as close to a sense of blissful completion I ever had."
Sadly, in 2017, Weston was arrested for a Los Angeles hit-and-run and a DUI. Nicolas' son struggled with substance abuse before, and in 2015 he said he got to a point where people believed he was digging his own grave.
However, the birth of his first son helped him focus on recovery, and having Nicolas, Danielle, and Lucian, was a trinity that would keep him centered. On October 3, 2005, Nicolas and his third wife, Alice Kim, welcomed Kal-El before they separated in January 2016, after twelve years of marriage.

The actor said the end of his marriage to Kim shocked him as he hadn't seen it coming. The former couple first met in Los Angeles in 2004 at a restaurant where she worked as a waitress; months later, they were married.
They tied the knot so she could travel to South Africa, Africa, where he was filming "Lord of War." Kal-El got his name due to Nicolas' interest in Superman's Kryptonian name, and he also followed in his father's career footsteps, starring in his first Hollywood role at age 13.
He voiced the young Bruce Wayne character in 2018's "Teen Titans GO! To the Movies." In July 2021, Nicolas and his sons attended the Los Angeles film "Pig," premiere, where they posed together for a family photo.
