During the conversation, Li confirmed that she was 100% in favor of Alina's relationship with Mal rather than her relationship with Kirigan. She said, "I'm all about: get someone who treats you right, and Mal treats Alina so well, and he really, really, really loves her."

Despite the verisimilar relationship between Renaux and Li, the actors are cuffed up with other people in real life. Li opened up about her ADHD diagnosis in a March 2021 Instagram post. She revealed in the same post that she has a partner who is autistic. Li seemingly keeps her lover away from the media.

Renaux is also off the market, in a relationship with Annie O'Hara, and their union reportedly dates as far back as the end of 2019. The pair keep their relationship so private that fans question whether they are still together. They are—O'Hara was Renaux's plus-one at the 2022 "Catherine Called Birdy" premiere.

The actor's girlfriend has been an Asset Manager at Schroders since September 2019, with a total of five years and seven months at the London-based company. O'Hara has no affinity for the spotlight and keeps her Instagram account private. Still, fans have documented Renaux's publishing of her photos.

Although the "Shadow and Bone" star rarely shares private matters and his love life on social media, he did share an image of himself with O'Hara at the premiere she tagged along to last year. In the caption, the actor mentioned their only child.

In June 2021, he posted a cute picture of himself and Iris walking in a park. Well, the actor did all the walking while his toddler sat comfortably on his shoulders. A few months later, in October, he shared a look at his Halloween celebration with Iris.

In February 2022, Renaux visited a water park with Iris and shared a picture of himself and the little girl positioned on his shoulders. They looked to be having a good time overseeing some sharks in an aquarium.

The actor shared another sentimental photo in July last year. While walking as a family, Renaux captured the shadows of his girlfriend, daughter, and self on a seemingly sunny day. In Wonderland Magazine's Winter 2022 edition, Renaux mentioned his fatherhood, saying, "this is my life now."
