In her social media post, Parker unveils a large poster for "And Just Like That" Season 2, segmented into three distinct sections, each showcasing the show's various characters. The middle section centers on the series' primary trio: Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte.

The poster's right section includes the children of the heroines - Brady Hobbes, Lily York, and Rose - and also features Seema Patel and Anthony Marentino. The left section presents the family of Lisa Todd Wexley, played by Nicole Ari Parker, Charlotte's husband Harry, Dr. Nya Wallace, and Che, who emerges as a new love interest for Miranda in the storyline.

Upon viewing the poster, fans expressed concern about the apparent absence of Miranda's husband, Steve. Some speculated that his character might be absent from the second season, sparking speculation and concern. One fan shared their dismay, saying:

"So sad no David Eigenberg, have always loved Steve's character."

Meanwhile, some followers expressed disappointment at the inclusion of Che among the featured characters. One commentator articulated their feelings:

"I just can't stand Che. I love Sarah Ramirez, but I don't like them in this."

These sentiments stem from the narrative arc developed in Season 1. Miranda, discontent with her monotonous family life, finds herself unexpectedly attracted to the queer character Che, a comedian and podcast creator who works with Carrie.

As Miranda and Che's relationship evolves, Che, played by Sarah Ramirez, balks at the prospect of breaking up a family. Eventually, Miranda reveals her feelings to Steve and ends their marriage to pursue her new love interest.

Cynthia Nixon, who has played Miranda for decades, admits that she understands the disappointment people expressed in her character's treatment of her husband and adds:

"That's the thing about breakups: oftentimes there's one person that is making the breakup happen and the other person who is reluctant. But I have to say that person who is reluctant is pretty miserable too, and they're just not admitting it."

Notwithstanding, the door remains open for Steve's return unless expressly confirmed otherwise. Despite his omission from the poster, another critical character's presence in Season 2 has already been hinted at.

The show's creators might revive the Carrie - Aidan storyline, as actors Sarah Jessica Parker and John Corbett were seen together on set in January and pictured kissing passionately on location in New York the following month.
