Sean Kaufman's Rumored Girlfriend: Nikol Tsvetanova
Although the identity of the actor's girlfriend remains unknown, recently, there has been a buzz about him having a relationship with Nikol Tsvetanova.
Besides sharing romantic chemistry with Tsvetanova, Kaufman has also sparked dating rumors with actress Minnie Mills.
Tsvetanova, born in Bulgaria and raised in Texas, is an aspiring actress who works as a temporary receptionist at Clarity Recruiting, part-time Front Desk Receptionist at Heatwise, and part-time Server/Bartender at Aita Trattoria.
The speculation between the two arose after the Bulgarian beauty posted a photo on Instagram in January 2023, showing her and Kaufman in a moment where they were nearly sharing a kiss. Her caption read:
"An ode to love."
Fans flocked to Tsvetanova's comment section to support the rumored couple. One fan noted Kaufman as Tsvetnova's "boyfriend," another expressed love for the pair, and the third fan described them as "cute."
Tsvetanova's post wasn't the only one that drove fans into a frenzy. Kaufman also shared an Instagram post of him walking down the street with Tsvetanova, his hands around her shoulders.
He has also shared photos from a formal event he and Tsvetanova attended in July 2022. Additionally, he expressed his adoration for her when she shared her headshots on social media.
Kaufman's close connection to Tsvetanova stems from their shared history of attending the same college. The two attended Purchase College's Acting Conservatory at the State University of New York.
Besides sharing romantic chemistry with Tsvetanova, Kaufman has also sparked dating rumors with actress Minnie Mills. This came after Mills paid a birthday tribute on Instagram to Kaufman, featuring photos of their sweet moments together.
Mills affectionately referred to Kaufman as her "best friend" in her post, yet the actress' Instagram followers couldn't help but speculate that their connection extended beyond mere friendship.
Mills, a London-born actress of South Korean heritage, has recently embarked on her acting career, taking on the role of Shayla in the film "The Summer I Turned Pretty," where she shares the screen with Kaufman, who plays Steven.
How Sean Kaufman Got into Acting
While fans are uncertain if Nikol Tsvetanova is Sean Kaufman's girlfriend, they are sure of Kaufman's love for acting. He discovered his passion in seventh grade when he auditioned for a school musical. Initially, he joined the musical to spend time with a girl he had a crush on.
However, he got one of the leads and realized he enjoyed being on stage and creating characters. He later developed his love for storytelling in college when he started reading plays and watching movies.
He also realized the impact actors and storytellers can have on the world and the relatability they can create. This paved the way for him to star in "The Summer I Turned Pretty," where he formed a bond with another neophyte actress and his on-screen sibling, Lola Tung.
Tung plays Belly in the series, and Kaufman, who plays Steven, has developed a strong bond with Tung. They spend much time together on and off set to build their sibling relationship.
Kaufman emphasized that it was essential for them to get the sibling relationship right, even though they understood that they were not their real-life siblings.
Kaufman, Tung, and Mills are part of the latest wave of emerging actors in the entertainment scene to keep an eye on, along with Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Priah Ferguson, Amandla Stenberg, and Milly Alcock.
