Matthew Lewis, the famous British actor who brought Harry Potter's Neville Longbottom to life, married Angela Jones.

Lewis proposed to this girlfriend in Paris back in November 2016. They dated for only four months before getting engaged and traveled constantly between London and Florida, where she lived, in order to see each other.

The internet learned of their marriage following a photo that Lewis posted on his Instagram page, as well as on Twitter, in which he appears alongside his bride as she holds onto the bouquet.

While it isn't certain when the ceremony took place, it seems that the couple said 'I do' during the weekend, considering the words used by the actor in both of his posts.

"Not only did I miss @ArcticMonkeys in LA but they were performing in Italy at the same time we were there and my wife made me get married instead. Fuming."

It can be assumed that Lewis and Jones' wedding was held in Italy, especially since the Harry Potter actor tagged a team of Italian photographers in the photo: Nancy and Piermarco.

The Arctic Monkeys, a British rock band founded in 2002, recently performed in Rome on Saturday and Sunday, which helps to confirm that Lewis and Jones became one in Italy.

Lewis met Jones in Orlando, Florida, at Universal Studios' Wizarding World theme park, where she worked at the time. Being one of the biggest stars in the Harry Potter franchise, the actor frequently reprised his role at such events.

After finishing the seventh Harry Potter book, J. K. Rowling, the creator of the world's most famous wizard, guaranteed that she wouldn't touch the franchise again.

But the truth is that the magical world just kept on growing, particularly after the premiere of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, in 2016. Its sequel, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, is set to be released in November 2018.
