Here's an expensive gift Kim Kardashian's daughter got for her 5th birthday

North West is turning five years old next week and the birthday presents are already streaming in. One gift from fashion designer Alexander Wang made headlines.

Kim shared on Snapchat and her Instagram Stories that one of the presents was a leopard print Wang shoulder bag worth $750. The gift came with a note from Wang himself.

'North, happy birthday! Every girl needs a lil sparkle. Hope you [heart emoji] it. Alex.' In the short video clip, Kim said that North 'is the luckiest girl in the world.'

She thanked Wang for his present and said she might still end up stealing the bag because it is so beautiful. 'Look at this Wang bag North got. I cannot even believe it. Love it.' she added

As reported by E News, North's wardrobe was worth more than $1 million two years ago, and the then 2-year-old could already boast with fashion items from Hermès and Balmain.

For her 1-year birthday, she received a custom Balmain jacket to match Kim's jacket. The gift was sent personally by fashion designer Olivier Rousteing.

While Kim and North was excited about the coveted Wang handbag, many Instagram users felt that children shouldn't receive extravagant gifts at a young age.

A netizen known only as Sally said North would become 'more and more demanding' as she gets older, and that she will insist on 'more and more expensive gifts.'

Roxanne Corralejo said North is going to 'grow up so materialistic like [Kim} and [her] family,' while Lolo Marie said the gift is 'utterly ridiculous.'

She added that a 'normal mom' would return the gift with a thank you note but explain that their daughter was too young 'to appreciate such luxuries.'

Instead, Lolo would have asked Wang to give the 'same amount to a Children’s hospital in West’s name.'

Nikki Edwards concurred and asked if Kim knew how many people would be able to get meals with $750. She also pointed out how many children across the globe can't even afford one meal.

Anna Cardo said: 'How about feeding some hungry children that haven't had a meal today. The sun is setting, and children are going to sleep on a bare floor, hungry.'
