Christie Brinkley's Ex-Husband Peter Cook, 60, Is Engaged to a 21-Year-Old College Student

Christie Brinkley's ex-husband, Peter Cook, is off the market again, and this time, he pooped the equation to a college student who is nearly 40 years younger than him.

Age is just a number, and love knows no age. These words perfectly describe Christie Brinkley's ex-husband, Peter Cook's engagement to a 21-year-old college student, Alba Jancou.

The two reportedly got engaged last month during a trip to Santorini, Greece, but decided to hold off the announcement for a while. Cook describing his joy at proposing to his "Soulmate," said,

"We consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have found in each other, our soulmate. We look forward to many years of wedded bliss."

The dad-of-two popped the question with a six-carat diamond ring designed by Glenn Bradford in front of a church, and Jancou, excitedly said, "Yes." The newly engaged couple met at Le Bilboquet in 2017 but didn't start dating until last year.

During the summer, Page Six reported that Cook and the Psychology student at Tulane University in New York, who is set to graduate in 2021, attended several high-profile parties in the Hamptons.

The couple attended the East Hampton Artist and Writer Charity Softball Game, and the East Hampton Library Authors' Night.

While this marriage will be Jancou's first walk down the aisle, it would be the third time the Hamptons-based architect will make the promise of forever to a woman.

In '96, he married the supermodel, Brinkley, and together they share two children. Interestingly, the groom-to-be's daughter, Sailor Brinkley-Cook, is the same age as his bride.

Cook's marriage to the mom-of-two ended in 2006 because he had an affair with his 18-year-old secretary, Diane Bianchi. He later remarried to a woman 20 years younger, Suzanne Shaw.

Their marriage ended in 2014, and Shaw accused her ex of having what she called a "Secret pathological predilection" for young women.

With his engagement to Jancou, it seems the architect still favors young women. The engaged couple is yet to fix a date for their wedding; they are enjoying the bliss of their engagement and are focused on each other.
