Lionel Richie's three children and his girlfriend honored him with touching tributes that included rarely seen family photos for his birthday and Father's Day.

Lionel Richie enjoyed a double celebration when his family came together to honor him on his birthday, which was a day before Father's Day.

His girlfriend Lisa Parigi posted photos of Lionel with his children enjoying a family picnic as he sliced into a chocolate cake. In her birthday tribute, she gushed, "you bring so much love & light to all of our lives. I love you."

Newly single, Sofia Richie honored her father with a gorgeous family photo of herself, Lionel, and her brother, Miles Richie, standing on the balcony of his mansion.

Sofia expressed her love for Lionel as she wished a happy Father's Day and happy birthday. She also admitted that she could not wait to enjoy the second day of celebrations with him.

Fans joined Sofia in sending the music legend well wishes. One person wrote, "happy birthday to the Icon, may you have many many more."

Nicole teased that she was not sure if Lionel ever got the call back from Ryan. She also added that the perfect gift for her father would be a call from the "American Idol" host.

It is reported, Lionel and Lisa have been dating since 2014. Although Lionel mentioned in 2016 that he was open to the idea of having more children, the couple has a dog together named Sylvester.

Lionel married his high school sweetheart Brenda Harvey and adopted Nicole before they divorced after 18 years of marriage. In 1995 he married Diane, who he shares Sofia and Miles with. They divorced in 2003.
