Miranda Lambert's Body Is Covered in 8 Tattoos — Meaning behind Them
Miranda Lambert is one of country music's most-talked-about singers, so it is no surprise that the public has learned the meaning of the star's tattoos. With eight in total, Lambert is a lover of ink.
Miranda Lambert is not afraid of a lot of things. The Texas native grew up on a farm, had a divorce and remarried, and has had a total of eight tattoos done on her body.
There's the arrow on her hand, the music note on her arm, the cross on her wrist, the animal paw on her foot, the feather on her other foot, and more. Let's look at the meaning behind her ink pieces.

THE CROSS
Lambert is as much about her faith as she is about her music, apparently. On the inside of her wrist, she got a tiny cross tattoo to represent her Christian beliefs.
THE ARROW
Not far from her cross tattoo, Miranda sports an arrow on the top edge of her hand. The meaning of this one is unknown, but arrows typically symbolize defense and protection.

THE MUSIC NOTE
In 2015, Miranda shared a black and white photo of her and close pals RaeLynn and Gwen Sebastian. The trio had all gotten musical notes on their outer wrist, seemingly to commemorate collaboration on RaeLynn's tour.
THE TUMBLEWEED
Another undefined tattoo is the word "tumbleweed," printed in cursive just above Miranda's musical note tattoo. It could be an ode to her Texas roots, or perhaps to leaving her mark wherever she goes.
THE GUNS WITH WINGS
Miranda's most recognizable tattoo is the two guns with wings on her inner forearm. She got the piece when she was 22, and her parents were not pleased. They came around eventually, and the tattoo is now sort of her logo.

THE PINK HEART
Miranda opted to get a paw-shaped heart tattoo on her foot in 2011. The tattoo represents her love of animals and is also the logo for her non-profit organization called MuttNation.

THE FEATHER
Miranda's other foot features a tattoo of a feather along with the word "wild." Again, Miranda has not provided the meaning behind the ink, but it sure is fun to look at and admire from afar.

THE QUEEN OF HEARTS
Soon after marrying husband Brendan McLoughlin, Miranda got her largest tattoo yet. The colorful ink lies on the inside of her right forearm. Miranda spoke on what the piece means to her, saying:
"It represents a lot of things in my life. I was going from one phase of life to a new one [...]. It's about making sure I know that I'm the queen of my own heart."
THE ACM AWARDS
Miranda certainly looked in control when she performed at the ACM Awards in September 2020. The singer stunned in a denim fringe shirt paired with high-waisted jeans and high heels.
During her performance, Miranda sang her hit song "Blue Bird" from her new album, "Wildcard." Based on the tattoos, the label certainly applies. Fans wait to see if Lambert will get more ink in the future.
