Amid her busy career as an actress in “Family Reunion”, a star in her own cooking series, “Tia Mowry at Home,” a host of her podcast, “Mostly Mom with Tia Mowry” and as a wife to Cory Hardrict and mother to two kids, does Tia Mowry ever think of leaving the city for a quieter life?

This was the question she was asked which got her to thinking about what it would mean for her to relocate to a slower environment.

TIA GETS CANDID ABOUT MOVING TO A QUIETER HOME

“It is something that I think about daily,” Tia admitted in an interview with People Now. “As you have a family, you want life to kinda slow down a little bit, and you want to be more in an environment that, you know, caters towards family and cities, they move very fast.”

“I envision just a lot of land. I envision, you know, a nice farmhouse."

However, Tia also confessed that though the thought was appealing she and her husband who both thrive in their careers as actors in LA are not in that place yet.

“If we’re to go to someplace that was slower, I think we’ll just kind of sit and relax in it a little more and we’re not ready to just, not give up on our careers, but we wanna still hustle.”

TIA SHARES WHAT QUIET LIFE WOULD LOOK LIKE IN THE FUTURE

Regardless of her stance about it now, though, Tia indulged in that reverie and imagined what life would be like for her if given the chance.

“I envision just a lot of land. I envision, you know, a nice farmhouse. But what’s even more interesting is I’ve always envisioned being on my bike and then having flowers of like a basket and have flowers there… riding my bike to a coffee shop, just being able to just sit and chill.”

It is quite a life we think and Tia predicts may happen “later down the road.”

THE ACTRESS GUSHES ABOUT HER NEW FAMILY SHOW IN THE PRESENT

That part of Tia’s future may be on hold for now but she certainly has more to live for in the present. She’s particularly inspired by her new show, “Family Reunion” which treads issues of race and identity while depicting what goes on in the daily lives of Black families.

“It’s just really refreshing and really rewarding for me,” Tia tells People. “When there is family programming, and it brings the family together, it creates memories, it creates bonds, it creates and sparks conversations, especially with this show.”

As early as now, she admits educating her 8-year-old son about the ins and outs of his culture and being open to other cultures as well.

In the series, Tia’s plays Cocoa Mckellan, a free-spirited mom who moves from Seattle to her mother’s home in Georgia where she struggles with living in the traditional Black household.

Tia says the beauty of the show relies in the family dynamic and how love binds everyone.

“At the same time, we’re really bringing a lot of authenticities when it comes to being Black and growing up Black,” she adds.

THE MOTHER OF TWO TEACHES HER SON ABOUT GROWING UP BLACK

The show is all the more special to Tia because she’s very passionate about exposing her own children to the realities of growing up Black in a racist environment. As early as now, she admits educating her 8-year-old son about the ins and outs of his culture and being open to other cultures as well. Bottom line, she wants to teach them to love unconditionally, much like Tia’s parents did and she does with her husband.
